The Wiltshire
Islamic Cultural Centre was
formed on 31st August
2008 and a committee was duly
elected.
WICC was set up in order to
serve the educational, social
and moral needs of the neglected
and growing Muslim Community in
Wiltshire, as a separate but
complementary organisation to
Trowbridge Mosque.
The committee
is made up of young and dedicated
people who are experienced in
working with government and
multi agency partnerships and
will act as a link between the
Muslim Community and the wider
society to empower all sides
with knowledge and information
which will, insha’Allah
(God-Willing) lead to
better understanding.
One of our main priorities is to
provide Islamic education and
diversionary activities for the
youth in order to bring about a more stable future for our children, who will
be proud of their Islamic
identity and be of benefit to
the Muslim Community and then to the
wider society.
